More often than not, marketing in the real estate sector is about selling the long term vision, in addition to highlighting what value a given area currently has to offer. While animation helps paint a picture of what a development would look like, a short film does an excellent job of showcasing the current state of a neighborhood. It can be difficult for a brand to see how they "fit in" by looking at numbers and graphs alone. Showing off nearby shops, restaurants, schools, attractions, and public transportation can give a potential leasee a great idea of what the way of life looks like in a particular area, all while keeping things concise and engaging for the audience.
